Budget-Minded
Honeymooners:
A lot of couples need to plan affordable honeymoons
instead of taking the trip of their dreams. If you
and your new Bride are looking financially lean after
your wedding, cut back on unneeded luxuries when planning
the honeymoon. All-inclusive resorts can often keep
you under budget. Cruises can be another affordable
option. With inclusive packages including airfare
to port cities, it can be a great selection for the
penny-pincher. There are several companies that offer
similar cruises with the same stops, but boats, food,
activities, and the other people on the boat differ
greatly. Inquire about the atmosphere on the boat,
so you don’t end up spending your honeymoon
with spring breakers. Keep in mind that the rooms
are tiny and alcohol is not included.
Mini-Moons:
A lot of couples have demanding jobs, and taking two
or even one week off is out of the question. They’ll
delay their Honeymoon until they have more time off.
Consider taking a day or two after the wedding and
travel to a bed and breakfast within a few hours drive
from your home. Another option would be to stay at
a nice hotel suite in a major city near you. Put the
“do not disturb” on the door and enjoy
each other!
With a few more days, you can take a quick trip to
Las Vegas or any of these other recommended US locations:
Cape Cod, Massachusetts
Hilton Head Island, South Carolina
Palm Beach, Florida
Poconos (Pennsylvania)
Las Vegas, Nevada
Napa Valley, California
San Francisco, California
Grand Canyon, Arizona
Sedona, Arizona
Vail, Colorado
