Congratulations!
The Groom picked you to be his Groomsmen. Being
a part of the Groom’s wedding is quite an
honor. Unfortunately, you just can’t show
up and drink all the liquor. Your main job is to
ensure the Groom goes onto the next stage of his
life without any complications. You are the Groom’s
servant, chauffeur, and personal assistant for the
next 24 hours. There is a fine single bridesmaid
at the end of this dark tunnel. Trust us.
We’ve created a list of all the duties that
the Groomsmen must complete before and during the
wedding day. Don’t worry, its not all work
and no play. You still have the Bachelor Party to
plan, remember?
Ushers are often Groomsmen but sometimes they are
cousins or other relative that you can’t find
a job for.

to confidently greet people and seat women, etc.

to be done on the wedding weekend. Help Grooms
and Brides family with decorations, etc. Ask if
their anything you can help with. Insist on this.
There will be plenty that needs to be done.
6. Pass out Bulletins or Programs.
7. Escort guests to pews and to the proper
side of the ceremony room.
8. Escort bridesmaids in the ceremony

clean and nothing or no one is left behind.
10. Ensure that everyone has rides
to reception.

appropriate arrangements, check with Bride and Groom
as divorce parents, 2nd wives, and angry uncle may
need to be separated.

parking lot, or to a families’ hotel or home
or to the Bride and Groom’s home.
